Happy Thursday Everyone! I still haven’t taken pictures of my December Daily because I have been so busy trying to get it caught up! I now have Days 1-5 completed as well as Days 11, 12, 13. I hope to get these up for you by tomorrow :) I have been just running here and there….what a crazy week this has been. I love it all, but need a few extra hours of uninterrupted time to get to where I need to be!

Here is a card I made last month and never had the chance to post. It is a Mo’s Digital Image and I fell in love with it. I printed it out very lightly as is the new craze in coloring these days :)

Sketch Saturday ~ Happy New Year ~ Reach for the Stars

Happy Saturday! I have my first Sketch Saturday card of 2010 to show you.  It is the turn of the lovely Simonne to host our challenge and she has created a beautiful sketch for us all!

I have used another of Mo Mannings’s images today. I knew that this would be perfect for New Year and it fit Simonne’s sketch so well! I printed the image out twice. Once on my Neenah paper and once on just regular paper. I cut out the image from the regular paper and used it as a mask when I airbrushed my colored image. I didn’t even use patterned paper on this card. GASP! I used the winter snowflake Cuttlebug folder to create this nice background. The folder was not wide enough so I ran it through twice to cover the whole surface of my paper. The ribbon hides where the two edges meet.

Happy New Year ~ Stamp & Create DT Card

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope that the coming year brings you much joy to you and your families!

I have had such a relaxing time this last week. Our Christmas was wonderful and it was such a pleasure to see the happiness on our boys’ faces on Christmas morning. Such a magical time and how wonderful to unwrap all the handmade gifts that they had made for us.

I have really taken time off from blogging and hadn’t even created a card until yesterday. To be honest, I really needed to take a break. With the kids being home, I wanted to spend my time with them and it has been so much fun. Now, I feel energized and my Mojo is flowing!

Probably not your typical New Year’s Day card but I really needed a change from all the Christmas cards that I had been doing. This amazing stamp was in my DT kit for Stamp & Create and I absolutely love the expression on her face! It is so alive and full of joy and I thought it was perfect to greet a brand new year! I used this week’s Mojo Monday sketch which was perfect for this stamp.

I finally had time to figure out how to use my Bow Easy…it is easy once you figure it all out and the bow is perfect the first time. I got mine -->here<--

I had more free time this week to indulge in finally getting one of Mo’s Digital Images. I have been drooling over her gorgeous illustrations for some time now and so this was pure pleasure to work with. I stumbled across this particular one while looking for another and I just had to have it :) I had printer issues this week in that I ran out of ink and didn’t have the opportunity to go and get more. I used my hubbies’s printer but the ink was smearing a little :( so I am sorry about that.
