Whiff of Joy Challenge # 173

Happy Wednesday!(actually it might already be Thursday for some of you) I think the cold weather is affecting my productivity. Everything seem to take longer and I find that I have a hard time getting warm these days. I am longing for a hint of Spring.

I wanted to share my make for the latest Whiff of Joy Challenge that actually went live a week ago. I just haven’t had a chance to share with you yet. You do have another week to join in the challenge. If you would like to do so, please enter at this post ~here~

The theme this time around is:

I am really addicted to making little tags these days. This time around, I used the nesting star die-lights from Whiff of Joy as the base. I added this sweet image and a bunch of other die-cuts to create this unique and vintage-look tag. SO much fun :)

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to start using stamps that I have never inked up (there is a dreadful pile, I am afraid) and to use my older stamps…..ones that I have only ever used once. So here is dear Charlotte from Whiff of Joy’s 2009 Valentine collection.

Whiff of Joy November Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Whiff of Joy Blog Hop! If you didn’t come here from Katharina’s blog, then head on over there because her blog is the start of the hop and I don’t want you to miss a single stop on this hop!

The days are getting shorter, the air is getting colder and our thoughts are turning to Christmas. In last months release, we had our beloved Henry celebrating Christmas but we still had so many other ideas! Our newest release reflects the traditions and nostalgia of Christmas. We have more sweet images of Maya and dear old Saint Nicholas to help make your Christmas creations very special! As well, we have some lovely text stamps and new dies that are simply gorgeous!

This month, we are giving away 2 stamps and 2 dies from this release to one very lucky winner. I used this sweet stamp entitled “On Santa’s Knees”. I fell in love with this one the minute I saw it and it was pure joy to create with. There are lots of layers and elements in this card. The charm is from Whiff of Joy, but they are out of stock at the moment. I have the new Christmas charms on order from the store and they would work as well. The sentiment is from the 2012 Whiff of Joy Winter kit. Here are the links for you :)

Here is the card I put together:

There are lots of fun Halloween elements on this card and it was so fun to put together. The card-base was created by stamping the entire front on my card with an Impression-Obsession background stamp with Hero Arts Wet Cement ink. I used some Glitter Ritz and Stamp & Bond for the stamped glittery elements.
