Avery Elle Celebrate Card

Happy Thursday! Hope you are all enjoying some sunshine. Summer is almost here! Just a few more days of school for my youngest, the oldest writes his last high school exam today and the middle guy is done and off on a camp trip with his school!

Today I wanted to share this fun celebration card that I made. It features the adorable Ellie stamp and die sets from Avery Elle. I filmed a video to show you how I created the mirror image elephant and also how I created the rainbow-esque background!

Happy December 24th! It is Christmas Eve and we were all awoken by the smallest one early this morning to be told the news :)

All that needed to get done is done. There were things on my list that didn’t get done but I am not going to stress about that. Mainly crafty projects that will be deferred to next year!

Simple Embossed Star Ornament

Happy December Thursday! Hoping that you have had a great week so far! I have a fun ornament to share with you today. It was very simple to create and I think it has a real rustic charm :) I filmed a video whilst I was making it and hope that is will inspire you to try it out!

I used a very sturdy Kraft cardstock for my stars. This way they will stand up to a little bit of wear and teak. I used a paper crimper on the largest star and sandwiched it between the two smaller ones. If you don’t have a handy-dandy crimper, I think you might be able to use corrugated paper instead.

White embossing on Kraft just makes me happy. It is such a gorgeous look and these stars are so, so pretty. One of my favorite sets from Stampin’ Up yet! I just want to give a shout out to Laura. She is based in Ontario and I get all  my supplies from her. If you are looking to get some Stampin’ Up goodies, please contact her. She is super speedy and will get you your order in such a short amount of time!

Whiff of Joy Halloween Tags

Happy Friday! I am pretty relieved that the week-end is upon us. It has been a busy week and I need to rest! LOL! I do have another Mix ‘n Match video for you. I hope you saw and liked the one from yesterday!

If you have been following my blog for awhile, you probably have guessed that I love, love my Whiff of Joy products and I also love to create fun tags. These make great little items to tuck onto gifts or to just give to your kids as a little pick me up or to let them know that you love and appreciate them. You can never discount the enormity of these tiny gestures. The other day, I was absolutely floored to discover that my eldest actually has hung in his locker a little tag that I recently gave him. Tucked right at the back but where he sees it every time he opens his locker. That just warmed my heart :)

Happy Anniversary

So, I finally did it!!! I have my own blog. I have a place to share all the cards I make and the "recipes" that go with them! This is a first for me so I will be learning as I go along. The first one will be the anniversay card I made for my hubby.
