I was asked quite a bit about the wallet that I made for my blog candy. I was inspired when I saw some small ones for the
Double Dutch challenge. I knew I wanted something a little bit bigger so I came up with this. I am making another one for my son to organize his piano practicing! This is my very first tutorial so if it is not clear, please let me know so I can improve!

To start you will need:
- 1 piece of double-sided designer paper (A) cut to measure 6" x 12"
- 1 piece of double-sided designer paper (B) cut to measure 10" x 12"
- Scor-Pal (not a necessity but certainly will make the task easier)
- Double-sided tape
- Scissors
- Corner RounderPaper Trimmer
1. Place Designer Paper (A) so tht the longer length is horizontal. Score at 6". This will be the main part of your wallet.

2. Fold Designer Paper (A) in half and round the two upper corners with your corner rounder.

3. Place Designer Paper (B) in your Scor-Pal so that the shorter side runs horizontally and the longer side runs vertically. Score at 1", 5", 9".

4. Rotate DP (B) so that the longer side now runs horizontally. Score at 6".

5. Fold all the crease lines as shown. Snips the middle of the tabs on both sides. See arrow on photo.

6. Round the corners of each side of each of the 4 tabs. See the arrows in the photo.

7. Place DP(B) so that the shorter length runs horizontally. Tape along the top and bottom lengths excluding the tabs.

8. Slide Designer Paper A into Designer Paper B as shown. Press down firmly to adhere the sides together.
9. Glue down the tabs and press down. See arrows on photo. Do this for all tabs (front & back)

10. Here is my finished wallet. Hopefully my instructions were okay and now you have one of your very own. I added a couple of flourishes and this cute knight & dragon duo from Elzybells

Here is the inside. My 7 year old son has just started his piano lessons. He is learning how to read the musical notes so I have tucked his little cards with them in one pocket. I have placed a mini calender (I have one for each month - I'll just switch them). He can cross off the days that he practices. We pay per lesson so I can tuck the money into the other pocket safe & sound!

I have already given it to him and he loves it. Now my older son is asking for one. He is starting his 4th year with the violin! Who knows what our third son will play!
