Happy Friday! Hope you are still enjoying your Summer. Our boys still have a few weeks left until school starts so we are taking full advantage!
Today’s card combines some brand new Whimsy Stamp products combined with some older ones. I thought that the heart, wings and halo from the new Gothic Die Set could also be used to create a condolence card. Sadly, I seem to be needing quite a lot of these types of card.
The wings were die cut out of vellum a total of 3 times each so that I could layer them together for a opaque and soft look. The heart was die cut out of a scrap of pink cardstock and then sponged with a red ink to create depth and dimension. I die cut the halo out of some mat gold cardstock and then used that same paper to die cut the word “Condolences” which is from this set, as well as the intricate cherry blossom die. I think that this particular die is now discontined, but any similar style die would work.
