Happy Friday! Welcome to the Digi Bells Blog Hop! I am excited to be sharing the newly release digital image for Digi Bells!
If you didn’t come here from the lovely Linda’s blog, the head on over to the start of the hop at the Digi Bells Blog. By leaving a comment at each stop of the hop, you have a chance to win this sweet digi.
This is the perfect image for this time of the year. I love this sweetie sitting in this huge pile of fallen leaves.
As this is a digital image, I was able to size it fit a A2 card perfectly. I used a scalloped die to cut out the image and then I used my Copic Markers to color. The sky and grass were added in using Prismacolor pencils. The final touch was to stamp in the birthday sentiment using versafine black onyx ink.
The image is available here.
Copic Markers:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, R20, R30
Hair: E40, E42, E44
Top: E81, E84, YG61, YG63, YG67
Jeans: B91, B93, B95, B97
Leaves: YR21, YR24, YR27, E97, E99, E07
The next stop on the hop is sweet Lisa.
Thanks so much for joining the hop today. Before heading out over there, remember to leave a comment for your choice to win this Fall-themed digi!

Oh my.... your coloring is spectacular! Cami is precious and you've brought her to life so beautifully. She makes the sweetest focal point and I love the gorgeous font of your sentiment. It looks like fluttering leaves to coordinate with Cami. :o) Beautifully done! I hope you have a lovely weekend!
Hugs and blessings,
Karen
Lovely card and nice highlighting around the image to really make it stand out.
Okay, I adore your coloring; I love how you colored up this sweet image, and the way you colored around her. I also love the sky and how you did the leaves. So, from top to bottom, I think you've done a beautiful job on this card. I simply LOVE how you put the words right on the page with the image rather than layering it. I just did this on a card and was so worried as I stamped on my finished image card that I was going to screw up. Have any trick to making sure it stamps perfect on the final paper with the image? Hugs, Gail
Hi Gail,
Thanks for your kind words. I would recommend either two options. You can use a stamp positioning tool like a MISTI or a stamp-a-ma-jig so that you can ensure it stamps exactly where you want it. The second option is to use a mounting block with lines on it and line you your sentiment with those lines, then stamp on your project. Also, always test out your sentiment on a piece of scrap paper before moving onto your project. Hope this helps :)

Hi Jeanette, your card is stunning, love this image by Elisabeth Bell, she is amazing. She may have been around the block once before but she is new to me. You've done a beautiful job with this card and Fall just happens to be my favorite time of year. Keep up the great work
