Happy Easter Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday and that the bunny stopped by your house :) I didn’t get the chance to create the Easter card I wanted to post :( time got away from me. I’ll have to “tweek” my design idea to create something non- Easter with that stamp…stay tuned!
Today I have my Stamp and Create Product Spotlight card to share with you and we are shining the spotlight on:
Magnolia Stamps
Magnolia stamps will be discounted up to 25% for this week
I have really loved the last few collections by Magnolia and I was itching to create a scene card when I saw these particular stamps. I thought they would look charming together :) I used Edwin's Knights Castle to help create this medieval scene card as well as Medieval Tilda and Tilda's Princess Horse. All these stamps can be found in Magnolia's Prince & Princesses Collection.
Tilda and her horse were each stamped separately and colored and cut out carefully. When I stamped the castle out, I made sure to offset it so that the castle edge lined up with the edge of my paper. That gave me enough room to be able to add Tilda and the horse. I air-brushed the sky in with with my Copic ABS. Before doing so, I added some cloud masks. I then colored everything with Copics. Tilda and the horse are popped on with dimensionals.
The patterned paper is from PYI. To embellish my card, I used assorted Prima Flowers and added a Crown charm to the upper left-hand side. These crowns are the perfect to use with this collection!
Hope you enjoy taking a peek at my Medieval scene as mush as I did creating it!
I will be back to edit this post with the S&C weekly blog candy once I have the info!
