Happy Monday and for all my friends celebrating Labour Day…Happy Labour Day! Hope that you are having a fun and relaxing time!
Today my card was created for the Stamp & Create September Challenge which is “Back to School”
Let's see your school themed cards or a card for a teacher or student returning to school.
One random participant will win a $25 Gift Certificate to Stamp and Create! For more details and to enter your creation, please visit the Stamp & Create blog.
Of course, I HAD to use the Whiff of Joy Back to School collection. These cuties have already been inked up a lot and I think they are a must-have for your stamping collection!
I created this fun little folder card using my Silhouette SD machine. It was easy-peasy to cut the patterned paper just slightly smaller and to fit perfectly! I am not sure of the paper brand as it was a left over scrap. The ledger paper was created using the Print & Cut feature on my Silhouette. I love how you can customize the exact look that you are going for. The title was….you guessed it…cut with my handy dandy Silhouette! I actually just cut it out on white cardstock and then I stamped over it with a Hero Arts background stamp and then air-brushed the whole thing with my Copic ABS with R27. All I had to do to the front of the folder was add a little Stampin’ Up ribbon and this gorgeous Basic Grey Bloomer Flower. I love the detail on these flowers. So fun!
I stamped the ledger insert with the number stamp that comes with another of the Back to School images. I like the little extra that it adds and yet I still have room to write a wee note on it!
