Stamp & Create Product Spotlight ~ Angels & Fairies

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. I literally spent half of it in a freezing cold hockey arena. With 3 boys it is a sure thing that we will live there this winter!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and so our monthly challenge will be to feature pink. This is very dear to my heart as I have lost 2 very close friends to this disease.

I used Whiff of Joy's Melinda Helping Angel to remind us that sometimes it is the gift of the small things that we do that can make a big difference in someone's life when they are battling breast cancer. Helping out with the housework or preparing a meal a week may seem like small things but are really some of the greatest things that we can do.

I used the new pennant die that Whiff of Joy is now carrying. The paper is Basic Grey Bittersweet and the button is also Basic Grey. I masked my image and stamp the background with a large SU stamp with Spun Sugar distress ink. I then sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap.
