Happy Monday! OMGosh! It is hot!!!! How is the weather over where you are? I just came back in from watering my poor parched gardens. We were out and about all weekend so they were very neglected by me. They were looking as wilted as I felt.
Today I have my card for this month’s Stamp & Create Challenge to show you. On the first Friday of each month we will have a new challenge for you. Lacey has changed the ruled slightly so that you can use any stamp that you wish. You just need to mention our challenge and place a link in your post to us. Here is the terrific prize you can win:
The theme of our challenge is “STITCHING”. It can be machine, hand, or even faux. Can you tell which one I used? You have until August 2nd to enter. ~Here~ is a link to the challenge post.
Yup….I chose the faux stitching option. I am just not that comfortable stitching on my cards yet. I paper pierced around the edge of my paper and then I just added the stitch lines with a fine tip sharpie. I used this amazing Kraftin’Kimmie stamp. Isn’t he a hoot? I colored him up to match my DP and I used the wonderful sketch from this week’s Truly Scrumptious challenge.

- Paper: SU! Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Cosmo Cricket Joyride
- Coloring: Copic Markers, Prisma color pencils for background

Yes, this kind of weather is noooo fun for our plants and flowers, we've had our first fires here in the Netherlands again also... so sorry for nature on days like this.. hope you'll keep your plants green!

Lovely card Jeanette. Love what you have done with the faux stitching, thats a really good idea and it looks so real, in fact it does actually look like stitching. Our weather in the UK is varied (as usual). We have had some hot weather and they were already mentioning a hose pipe ban, but knowing the great british weather the sunny days won't last.
