Water Lily

Happy Sunday! I am quickly writing up this post so that I can share a new Sugar Nellie creation with you.  I used an image from the Home Grown collection  to create another page for my Art Journal album using the lovely retiring digital image:

I sized and positioned the image to create an underwater look. The background was created using Copic Markers and the Copic ABS. The image was also colored with Copic Markers.

Under the Sea

Happy Monday! I have a new Art Journal page and a video to share with you today. I just gravitate towards mermaid images during the Summer!  It is free choice this week over at the Sugar Nellie blog and I decided to create another page for my Art Journal album using the lovely retiring digital image:

Simply Sassy | Bad Hare Day

I colored the image with Copic Markers and then fussy cut it. I had this large pre-made tag that the perfect size. I dressed it up with a paper doily, a die-cut flower and a brad.

These two cuties were fun to color up using Copic Markers. The sky was added in with a Prismacolor pencil and some Gamsol to blend.

Oops a Daisy

Happy Sunday! I am popping in to bring you a creation featuring on of the new Gorjuss stamps from Do Craft.

I love, love this sweet image and I may just happen to have the other 3 new images….so stay tuned :) This one is called:

The image was colored with Copic Markers. I used bits and bobs from my stash to create the rest of my card :) Seriously, that patterned paper is at least 7 years old! All the embellishments were just pulled out of my basket where I keep all my left-over embellies.

Simply Adorable

 

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend and to all those who celebrate today, Happy Mother’s Day! Today I have my Sugar Nellie DT card to share with you.  I used an image from the Simply Adorable line.

This image is called I LIke to be Pretty. I created a window card with it.

Springtime

Happy Sunday! Today I am  here to bring you a little bit of Spring…in the form of a card because it certainly does not feel like Springtime here in Montreal!

I love, love the image I used but wanted to change it up a little. Because it is a digital one, I was able to resize and crop it to create a different look. I have removed the flower and critter and only used the upper portion of the fairy.

The image is called: A Little Bit of Gossip and can be found over at Funky Kits.

I created the frame using Mama Elephant Madison Avenue die set. This is the first time I am using it, and I already know that this is going to be used A LOT in the future. I just love it.

I created the background behind the image by sponging on 3 distress inks. The color combo was one that I saw Kristina Werner use on one of her cards and I thought it was so pretty. I used the Distress Sprayer to add the water drops. The final touch was to cut some pretty butterflies using some left-over patterned paper and the Martha Stewart butterfly punch.
