Happy Friday! The week-end is almost here and I have another video in my Halloween Series to share with you! I plan to create 2 more videos for this series before concentrating on my Christmas one!
As I have done in past years, I have misxed and matched stamps and dies from different companies to create unique cards. It is a great way to stretch your stamps and dies and get more bang for your buck!
When I created this card, I had in mind to have a haunted/creepy forest vibe to it. I used various Distress inks to sponge in a background that had a wee bit of an eerie glow to it. I really love using inks to create my own backgrounds!
The main “characters” in my scene are from a Mama Elephant stamp set that is a couple of years old bur still readily available for purchase. There are other cute little images like a vampire, Frankenstein and a princess. The trees are from a Lawn Fawn christmas set that again is older but still around! I love that I can use it for cards other than Christmas themed!
The moon was a later addition. I hadn’t initially planned on it but soon realized that I “needed” one. I used a gold Wink of Stella pen to color it and IRL it is awesomely shimmery!

thank you so much for sharing the cards you make. I love looking at them and seeing how you've colored them and combined stamps and inks. My favorite part is the section where you list all the items you have used, cause sometimes I will see a stamp or border, etc. that I just have to have and that way I can find it quickly and see where to buy. keep up the beautiful work you do and again thanks for sharing
