Happy Day! Earlier this week I shared a couple of cards that I had made with Whimsy’s new Mom’s Layered Flowers Clear Stamp set. For those cards, I had used dye inks paired up with some water-coloring. Today’s card features heat embossing and a whole lot more water-coloring using Zig’s Real Brush Clean Color Markers. I have videos for both techniques :)
I love how easy this was to color once I had embossed all the flowers with white embossing powder. It really helps to keep the ink where you want it and you don’t have to be too fussy about applying the ink….the embossed edge does a lot of the work for you! I really like the vibrancy of colors that you get with the Zig Markers!
I used the Misti to stamp everything out but you don’t need on to try out this technique, it just saves soooo much time and allows you to correct things if they don’t stamp well the first time :) I am notoriously bad about my sentiments. There is always a 50/50 chance I will muck it up by stamping it crooked or not crisply enough. The Misti solves this for me. I am not being sponsored by them, I just am really impressed by the product and I HIGHLY recommend getting one if you can :)
