Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was wonderful and productive AND relaxing! I am really trying to enjoy my weekends more and not have tons of laundry and chores to do. I rush about more during the weekdays (and week nights) to get as much done as possible!
Today I have a card for Whimsy Stamps to share with you as well as a copic coloration video. This is the very first time that I have colored a Mi Ran image. I am now an official fan and am going to go shopping over at Whimsy to pick up a few more from her line! They are such fun to play with if you like to color eyes and hair! I am laughing to myself right now because that is something that you could really never say in a normal conversation with anyone….except a fellow crafter.
Here is the lovely image from Whimsy called Rose Garden.
I cut the image into a square shape and roughened up the edges with a distressing tool. I used some strong red cardstock and some white. The ornate frame was made using a Spellbinders die. I couldn’t find this exact one anywhere to give you a link. I bought it quite a few years ago but if you look at the recent Spellbinder Decorative labels line, you will find similar ones. I finished it all off using some adhesive gems and ribbon.
