Happy Sunday! Another Summer weekend in almost over and we are already into August. I cannot believe how quickly the Summer flies by. Today I wanted to share my latest Sugar Nellie creation with you.
I used a digital image from the Under The Sea collection. This is called Aqua Marina. If you prefer to use rubber stamps, this image is also available in rubber form –>HERE. Since I used the digital form of this image, I was able to resize it so that it was large enough to create a page for my art journal.
After coloring the image with Copic Markers, I masked it and then sponged on the background to create this underwater scene. I tried out a different combination of inks rather than using only blues and aquas as I did for my last mermaid creation:) I added some clear sequins for a little interest to finish off this page. Here is a closer look at the sweet mermaid:
Be sure to check out the Sugar Bowl challenge and we would love to see you over at our Sugar Nellie Facebook page!
Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful rest of the weekend!
Hugs Jeanette xxo
