Happy Thursday! Well, one son is off to school today and the other two will start on Tuesday! I guess Summer is pretty much over. This weekend we will be doing our tomato sauce with the neighbours. It will be a full and long day with all hands on deck but we will have our sauce for the entire year at the end of it!
So, here I am again playing catch up and showing you so of my recent DT makes :)
First off is my creation for the new Whiff of Joy Challenge. The theme for this fortnight is flowers. I just recently received the new dies from the August release and I had fun time creating something without a colored image! Imagine! This little box was quick and easy to make and with a few extra touches….unique!
I used the new pillow box die and cut it out using some paper from the Whiff of Joy paper pack. Then I used one of the clear background stamps from the Backgrounds Essentials set to emboss these white dots all over the paper. Love Polka Dots.
I used the wonderfully heavy white cardstock to cut out the leaf and tag shapes. Then I used some felt to cut out the rolled flower. I love, love how it looks with felt. Just makes me happy. I added a wee bit of ribbon, and a pearl to my flower and the box was done.
