This month’s project theme is:
Altered Notebook
Here is the one that I created. I bought a notebook at the $ store and then took off the front and back cover, replacing them with kraft cardstock. I used my Bind-it-all to punch the holes in the cardstock. Easy-peasy.
I stamped the image with Memento ink and then for a fun change-up, I used Prismacolor pencils to color it up. I love the softer, mute look that this gives. Before I added it to the notebook, I took an oval Spellbinders tool and embossed the shape around my image. I then colored the indentation with a white Prismacolor pencil. I masked off the area and used some Studio Calico mist over onto top. The charm and alphabets were strung with some twine and adhered with glossy accents. The tabs were made with a WoJ die-light and I ran the die-cut through my crimper to create that fun effect. The butterfly was also adhered with glossy accents and I covered over on top with a clear Wink of Stella pen.
