Happy Saturday Everyone! It is the last Saturday of the month and that means that it is time for our monthly project theme! Every month, the Whiff of Joy Design Team will work on the same Project theme and we will post all our interpretations on this blog the last Saturday of each month! In January we all shared our bookmarks with you. You can see them ~here~. In February we charmed you with our creations using charms which you can see ~here~.
This month’s project theme is:
A Door-Hanger
I have had this frame from 7-Gypsies for about a year now. I originally bought it because it was on sale and I couldn’t pass it up and I imagined it housing a collection of stamps from Whiff of Joy. Of course, my intentions and making those intentions a reality can sometimes take a while. Then, my boys saw the images from this Stamp kit and they all went absolutely wild over it. I decided to use the images to finally complete this project. Then, I got the idea to use this door-hanger that usually holds our Christmas wreath and hook the handle onto it. Love, how it looks and the boys love it. Just one problem, they seem to be wanting more items with these images! LOL!
While I know that a lot of you were smartie-pants and pre-ordered and received this Whiff of Joy Stamp kit, I know that I will be getting emails asking how you can get these images. Well, you can’t. The Stamp kit is a one-shot deal to get these babies in rubber. BUT, I know that somewhere along the line these will be available to purchase as digital images. When, I don’t know….but (and she is going to kill me for saying this) you can always bug Katharina :) In the mean-time, I have a feeling *wink*wink* that maybe some more cute pirate stamps might soon be available ;)
Here are some close-ups for you. I cut a couple of 6x6 papers up from DCWV. They are really old but I loved that they had the map and sea motifs on them.
Please swing by the Whiff of Joy Ideas blog to see the other fabulous creations by the Design Team. They blow me away every month!
Have a wonderful Easter.
