For my Blog Hop card, I chose to use “Precious” one of the images from our March release We Are Family. I {heart} this sweet release because it brings me back to those special days when my boys were sweet, tiny babies.
For this card, I wanted to create something soft and dreamy. My card measures 5 x 7”. The patterned paper is Gabrielle Unwritten by Bo Bunny. I bought it last year and when I was searching my stash, it was perfect for what I had in mind.
The image was colored with Copic Markers (E40, E41, E42, E43, E000, E00, R20, E5, E51, Colorless blender). I used some Grunge stamps from LOTV to create the light script and floral border around my image panel. I used Memories Die Ink in Soft Wheat. The sentiment is from Whiff of Joy’s Baby Collection and was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa and sponged with Soft Wheat.
I used some Spellbinders dies to create the eyelet rectangle and sentiment. The pearl flourishes are from MME. I simply cut one set up and placed each piece where I wanted. The resin heart is by Melissa Frances and the pearl brad is from Whiff of Joy. The ribbon is Stampin’ Up.
