Happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great day! I am hoping to spend time in my garden today getting all my veggies and herbs in. I had planned to do this yesterday but then my hubby called and invited me out for lunch and my plans for gardening were abandoned! It is not often we get to eat out without our 3 chatterboxes!
Today is the day when you can purchase all the cute Elisabeth Bell Back 2 School images from Whiff of Joy. I highly recommend that you go early to make sure that you snag the ones you want because I think they might go fast!
Here is another card featuring such a stamp that I have to stay looks remarkably like I did as a school girl. Glasses, hair in two braids plus a bandeau & ribbons, and always books on hand! I think perhaps Elisabeth sneaked a peek in my old photo albums! It is really uncanny! I don’t know the name of this stamp but I think Katharina should re-name her School Girl Jeanette! LOL!
I used paper from October Afternoon’s School collection for my card. I {heart} these two particular patterns. I think they are gorgeous! I went with some orange and Kraft cardstock to form the mats and base of my card. I added two SU! buttons to either side with some gorgeous WOJ button twine in Old Swiss! Amazing stuff and a definite must have!
Here is a close-up of me….ahem I mean the image. I added Glossy Accents to the lenses of my/her glasses and I think you can see the effect in this picture quite well. Love adding these little touches.
Here you can see the little tag that I made that tucks into the side! I used the WOJ magical tag die to create the tag and stamped the image and sentiment which are also from the new Back 2 School collection!
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs Jeanette xxo
