Happy Tuesday! I have my card for this week’s High Hopes Challenge to show you today. The theme is “anything goes” so that makes it easy peasy. Just remember to use a HH stamp for your card :)
I used this super cute Dustin Pike image: Party dragon for my card today and decided to create a little birthday card. We always seem to need one :) I will go ahead and add the appropriate age number once we know who is getting this one.
I have colored my image with Prismacolor pencils this time for a wee change from the copics. I don’t want to get out of practice with this technique and I love the soft blended look it gives.
The present was paper-pieced and then I wrapped some bakers twine around it before mounting it with dimensional foam. The banner was made with a MFT die. I used the same twine to embellish it and cut out some cute star shapes and added some adhesive gems to dress it up.
I created the scallop on the bottom with a Stampin up punch as well as a stamp set specifically designed to co-ordinate with each other. I haven’t used the set in ages and it was time to dust it off!
