Double Challenge Fridays

Happy Friday! I have two cards to show you today and a reminder to check out my Challenge ~here~. The winner will get a free Whiff of Joy stamp and I will showcase their work here on my blog!
This week it is the super sweet and talented Janneke that is hosting the Friday Sketchers Challenge and she came up with a really fun sketch for us all to play with.

I am really embracing this wonderful time of the year and so all my pretty “Summer” papers have been put aside to bring out my gorgeous and vibrant “Fall” ones! I colored up this sweet little Tilda from the Bon Voyage collection and paired it up with some old SU! papers that I have been hoarding. I am really trying not to buy any more DP until I get my piles down to a reasonable level. The background was airbrushed with my Copic ABS using B32.

I typically make square cards but Janneke’s sketch inspired me to go with a rectangle and so this card is a regular A2 size.

My next card is for the Wags ‘n Whiskers Challenge and this week the theme is “birthdays”. I knew right away I was going to use this cute little tiger! This stamp is called “Toby’s gift” and is available ~here~.

Once again I used my Copic Sketch markers to color him up and the paper is from an old Basic Grey pad. I used the fun sketch from this week’s Card Patterns challenge.
