Whiff of Joy PoM ~ A Gift for Baby

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Today I want to  show you my Whiff of Joy Project of the Month (PoM). Jacqui challenged us all to create a “Gift for Baby'”.

With the gorgeous stamps and sentiments in the Women’s Delight collection as well as all the cute little animals in the Party animals collection…..it was tough to figure out what I wanted to do. So I thought back to some of the gifts that I had received when I had my babies and thought of the ones that had really touched my heart and had proven to be invaluable. And so, I decided to create a CD holder to hold a compilation of beautiful Celtic lullabies. I am a very musical person and anyone that knows me knows my love of music and singing. I was so blessed to receive numerous CDs of the most gorgeous soft music for my babies who of course had been exposed to music since in utero!

I used the lovely Willow with Baby stamp for the front and I printed the title from my computer. The paper is Bella Bleu from SU! and Navy cardstock.  The ribbon is Papertrey. I found a tutorial for the CD holder here on Splitcoasters but I did modify it slightly. The insert slot for the CD itself was adhered to the inside top and does not wrap all the way around. I also covered the inside with DP to give it a more finished look and it closes with ribbon instead of with velcro.
