Today I have a card that I made for this week's A Spoonful of Sugar Challenge. The challenge this week is to use Gems on your creation. This was pretty easy for me as they are one of my favorite embellies! I used this very sweet Tilda and blossoming tree that is from one of Magnolia's new collections....they are releasing so many that I am having a hard time keeping up with all the collection names!I think this is such a sweet image and so I kept the coloring very soft and used my prismacolors with OMS as my coloring medium. I added a little sparkle to the blossoms with my atyou spica glitter pens. I sponged around the edges with some chocolate chip ink and then sponged the sky with soft sky ink.
- Stamps: Magnolia
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, SU Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky
- Paper: SU Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, DP from Memory Box
- Coloring: OMS & Prismacolors, Spica pens
- Embellies: Dollar Store Gemstones, Flowers cut with Cuttlebug die, Flourish with Quickutz die
