This week it is Chis's turn to host the challenge. She wants you to derive inspiration from Cinderella. Now, Cinderella was always my favorite while growing up (and still is to this day). I loved her beautiful blue and white dress and so that is what I based my card on. Now my friends who are reading this are giggling because I have to confess that I find blue & white hard to resist and it has now become quite a joke! Here is my take:
I used blue and silver matte metallic paper that I picked up a while ago at a craft store. I didn't have a purpose for them but they were so beautiful. Very Cinderella- like colors! I embossed the image and sentiment and cut them out with my Nesties. There is a wide white satin ribbon running behind the image and because we can't forget her glass slipper - I have added clear gem adhesives to the corners!
- Stamps: Sweet n Sassy Winter at Home
- Ink: Encore Metallic in Blue with Stampendous Embossing Powder
- Paper: Sorry I have no brand name
- Embellies: White Satin Ribbon - Fabricville, Martha Stewart Gems
If you would like to participate in this challenge, please visit the Sweet n Sassy blog for all the details! And don't forget to stop by the SNSS store, Korin is still having an amazing sale! I just spent the last of my Chrismas stash over there!
