Happy Monday Everybody! As you can see, I am one of the blog hop stops on this full collaboration between Glue Dots and Whimsy Stamps!
I decided to use the lovely image Mazarine Fairy Rubber Stamp to create me card. I colored the image using Polychromo pencils and added the color to the sky using some chalk and a fluffy brush. I then cut out the image using the Shaker Maker Rectangular Die Set. This let me cut a lovely border frame and an insert with the colored image for my card. The border frame was adhered to my card using some foam adhesive tape. This made the frame sit up away from the rest of the card. The image insert was then adhered onto the card using some Glue Lines from Glue Dots. I had never used these before but loved the size and shape of them and how well they worked.
To create the sentiment for my card, I die cut the words from the Birthday, Wishes, and Magical Word Die Set using some metallic purple cardstock. I adhered these very delicate die cut words using Microdots from Glue Dots. These are super tiny but adhere very, very well. I love that the die cuts words are adhered to the card but you can’t see any adhesive whatsoever! The final additon to my card was to scatter some adhesive gems onto the card. I also used two of the tinier ones to serve as the dot for the letters “i” (actual word is a tittle).
