Jasmine

Happy Sunday! I am here to bring you a sweet Valentine card featuring a lovely older image from Sugar Nellie.

I used Jasmine which is an older rubber stamp that I don’t see in the store any longer but I am sure many Sugar fans have her in their stash.

I colored the image up with Copic markers, masked it and then added 3 shades of Distress ink to create the background: Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries. After blending them on my paper, I used a paint brush to splash water droplets on it. This added even more of a distressed look.

The card shape was made using a die from Paper Trey Ink. Here is a view of the inside of the card. I stamped the image again in Picked Raspberry and added a stip of washi tape from my stash.

I love the shape of the card and your coloring, and especially the background - a real eyecatcher with the colors and the little splashes!

Wish you a nice weekend :-)
