Happy Monday Everyone! Sorry for the very late posting but we went skiing this morning with the kidlets. It is 1½ hours away so we got up super early (5:00 am) to be able to get there early and ski until lunch. The scenery was SPECTACULAR as were a couple of my wipe-outs! I was not used to the powder snow or the moguls. I have now learned to ski AROUND them! LOL!
So, on Valentine’s day, my hubby bought we a little video recorder so that I could start to use it on my blog. What a sweetie! I get so many questions every week about my coloring and once i mentioned that I would love to create some videos. He decided to surprise me and make my wish come true. I am so LUCKY!
I have made a short little one for starters and I hope to expand on it with some tutorials showing how I color with my Copics. Since Youtube videos can only be 10 minutes long, I will break the techniques down into sections! If there are other things you’d like me to do, then please leave me a comment and I would love to accommodate you!
Here is my first one. I show you how to use the colorless blender solution to create a very subtle texture and also how to apply Shimmerz. (Please ignore my alternately squeaky & mumbled voice ~ you may have to turn up the volume! I will practice on speaking louder for the next on!)
This week, the Product Spotlight at Stamp & Create is Stampavie Stamps. Stampavie carries a few stamp lines by different artists and they are all too cute and sweet!
The artists are: Sarah Kay, Penny Johnson, Helz Cuppleditch, Gillian F. Roberts, Rachelle Anne Miller, and Mo Manning.
For the Product Spotlight Special this week, all Stampavie stamps that are in-stock at Stamp and Create are 25% off. This excludes the Spring/Summer release pre-order.
However, speaking of the pre-order, you can still pre-order all of the images new release images.
Many of the supplies I used are from Stamp & Create. I have linked them to the store so all you have to do is click on them!
- Stamps: Stampavie Penny Johnson : Butterfly Bear
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Paper: SU Celery & Bashful Blue, Basic Grey Wisteria
- Coloring: Copic Markers, chalk, Angel wings Shimmerz, Pearl Shimmerz Pearlz
