Winter Wryn Card and Video

Happy Friday! Yesterday I spoke about Winter coming and today, as I type, there are snowflakes fluttering down from the sky :) I have a card and a video to share with you today.

I had a great response with my Halloween Card series and was asked to do something similar with a Christmas theme. I am going to do my best to create a series but I won’t set myself a set number. This first one shares how I create masks for creating backgrounds when using digital images and also shows you the copic coloration. I have added all the numbers used right in the video.

I recently purchased a couple of Tiddly Inks digital images. They are so very sweet. This first one in called Winter Wryn.

What I really enjoy about digital images is how I can size them perfectly for whatever project I am creating. I knew that I wanted to create a simple card without too much fuss and create a starry background.

One of the things I really enjoy with digital images is that I can size them perfectly for whatever project I am creating. I knew that I wanted a relatively simply layout with a wonderful starry background behind the image.

Here is the video showing you the coloration with copics as well as the creation of the background. Enjoy :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to try out some new techniques with your digital images :)
