La-La Land Craft Stamps ~ Inspiration Friday

Happy Friday! TGIF! I have been pretty busy this week and am looking forward to our long Holiday week-end! I think I may be spending a lot of that time cooking and baking for our Thanksgiving feast but I have a crew that is here to help!

Today’s card is for LLLC’s Inspiration Friday and we have the theme of “heavy metal”.

I bought these Memory Box window die from Scrapbook Centrale about a month ago and I finally cracked open the shiny, new packaging to try it out. I wanted to have sweet Christmas Elf Luka peeking out of the window :) I needed just a little something else on the front of the card and so I used the LLLC Holly flourish die to cut out these leaves in kraft paper, tied some bakers twine around it and attached my “heavy metal” item. It is actually little metal balls that were decorations on last year’s Christmas crackers! I made every-body collect theirs before we cleared the table. My family knows me and understands! LOL! I knew they would come in handy!

Once the card is opened up, you can see this cute little elf tip-toeing with a huge stack of presents. I thought this accompanying sentiment was perfect for my card and cut it out using some Spellbinders labels dies. The paper is from Kaiser Crafts “Be Merry” 6x6 paper pad. I love the cheerful and bright colors in it.
