Happy Wednesday Everyone! It is “Hump” day, or at least that is what I call it. The middle or hump of the week! The school year is wrapping up for us and I find that I am scurrying and hurrying around with all the recitals, field trips and final exams going on.
Today I am showing you a sneak peek of Whiff of Joy’s upcoming new release. We are having a fun blog hop on Friday the 15th with prizes and lots of inspiration from our wonderful team, so be sure to stop by for that :)
This release also debuts our new collection Simply Maya; that is illustrated by our newest artist Gina Elerion. I am totally head over heels in love with her sweet and whimsical images and I know that you will love them too! In fact, if you check out some of my fellow DT sisters’ blogs, you will see peeks of our wee Maya!
I decided to showcase this sweet new Henry Policeman stamp. Isn’t he a cutie? My boys adore all the Henry images and this one was no exception! I wanted to make a tag and went to my Silhouette Library to choose one but then I saw this library pocket with tab and thought it would be perfect. I pulled out some fun “boy” paper from Simple Story and Echo Park and used that to make a library card and to decorate the front panel. I used the banner trio to cut out one little banner and adhered it to the card with my Tim Holtz tiny attacher and some WoJ baker’s twine. I also cut out a star shape from the center of it using a tiny little punch I have had for ages. To dress it up a little more, I added some WoJ silk ribbon. It finishes off the tag perfectly.
The Henry Policeman image will be available at Whiff of Joy on Friday.
