Happy Friday! Hasn’t the week sped by? I can’t believe that it is almost the week-end and that the kids’ Spring Break is almost over. Neither can they :)
Today I have two cards to show you. The first one is for this week’s Friday Sketcher Challenge which is being hosted by the wonderfully talented Rach! Her sketch is sure to inspire you!
I have used the newly released Baking Tray of Love for my card and pulled out some older Basic Grey papers. The ribbon binding is from Stampin’ Up…love this stuff. The huge flower is from my stash and I thought it was a good match for the card. The sentiment is from Stampin’ Up. There is another one stamped inside the card but I forgot (typical) to take a photo of that.
Be sure to check out all the samples that my fellow DT sisters have created for your inspiration.
We hope you will be able to play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog. Our sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy! The winner will be able to choose a stamped image of their choice!
My second card for today is for the Wags ‘n Whiskers challenge which is to have more than one fold on your card. Right away, I though about making a gate fold card. It seems to have been a thought shared by quite a few of us on the team :)
I used the sweet image Snuzzle Love. Once again, I reached into my paper scrap drawers to pull out the paper for this one. I have really diminished my piles but there is still a lot more to go! I machine stitched the panels and even had a go at stitching around the Nestabilitie shape. I really like the contrast it adds and it wasn’t too difficult at all. The flowers are from my stash…no idea really which brand they are! Ribbon is Stampin’ UP in bashful blue.
Hope you will have time to join in the Wags ‘n Whiskers Challenge this week.
Thanks for stopping by!
