Happy Sunday! So now I can finally tell you my exciting news. I have kept this under wraps for a few months waiting until I could say it: I was asked to be one of the High Hopes Guest Designers for October-December! I am beyond excited about joining this talented group of girls on the DT. High Hopes was the company that introduced me to the world of “cute” stamps way back in March last year ! I love, love them. They are the perfect stamps to color!
This week the challenge over at the High Hopes blog is “lots of layers”. I had a lot of fun creating this card using this sweet little stamp. It is perfect for Thanksgiving which here in Canada will be next week-end! I was able to use lot of pieces of paper in my scrap drawer for this card …I swear that drawer is always over-flowing!
- Stamps: High Hopes: Thankful Friends
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Paper: SU Wild Wasabi & various scrap pieces
- Coloring: Copic Markers, Prismacolor pencils & OMS
- Embellies: Ribbon and button from SU!
Have a wonderful Sunday my friends. Please check out the HH blog and you will see all the other DT cards. They are all GORGEOUS! I hope you get the chance to participate this week as well! The weather here is rainy and cold and I think we will light our first fire in the fire-place this afternoon. Tomorrow I have yet another TWO announcements to make! Remember I told you I had been busy! Now you can finally see what I have been up to! LOL!
