Happy Friday! Just wanted to share my card for the newest Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge that went live last Friday. Yes, it has been one of those week ;)

Here is the Halloween Tag that I made:

DSC_0014_edited-1

I used Flying Witch Tilda to create this fun little tag. The tag was cut out using a Whiff of Joy tag and I colored the image AND background with Zig Clean Color Markers. I am definitely loving these markers. Look out for a video about them soon :)

Stamp and Create with Magnolia

Happy Saturday! Yesterday, a new challenge began over at Stamp and Create with Magnolia!

Challenge #68:

Back to School

I used Magnolia’s Autumn Tilda with Pencils for my card. You may notice that it is quite similar to my card posted last Monday. I made the two at the same time! I change it up a little by adding this strip of washi tape.

Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge

Happy Thursday! I haven’t had the chance to post my card for the latest Stamp and Create with Magnolia challenge. The theme is easy peasy: Anything Goes :)

DSC_9789

I created a little framed landscape card. The frame was made with the two largest dies from Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rectangles set. The background was sponged using inks. You can watch a video showing you this exact technique HERE.

The Magnolia images I used were Edwin Catching Fish and Tilda on the Beach and the sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink.

Stamp and Create with Magnolia

Happy Tuesday….okay… technically it is Tuesday evening. I am a bit behind in things. We celebrated my youngest’s birthday this weekend and it has been a full month of birthdays at our home! So I am playing a little bit of catch up!

I wanted to share my creation for the latest Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge.

DSC_8681

This image is Devine Tilda and I colored her in shades of pink. I first diecut some cardstock with a Mama Elephant die that has this great stitched detail around the edges. I used an old SU background stamp and some Hero Arts Soft Pink ink for the background. I stamped some hearts with the same ink and then added some clear Wink of Stella pen to them.

Stamp and Create with Magnolia

Happy Saturday morning! Just popping in quickly to share my new card for the latest Stamp and Create with Magnolia challenge:) The theme is: Patriotic. I knew right away which Magnolia stamp I wanted to use: Liberty Tilda

DSC_9437

I cut some watercolor paper and then “smooshed” some distress inks onto it. I used Shabby Shutters, Tumbled Glass and Salty ocean. I love, love this technique. I first saw it on Kristina Werner’s blog.

The image itself was colored with Copic Markers. I took a picture of the markers after I was done coloring. Please excuse the bad photo.

Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge

Happy Saturday! Yippee! Lots going on with the boys this week-end but I hope to get some quiet time to start a new quilt :) and maybe get a head start on some cards for the summer for my design teams. There is just so much crafty goodness out there these days! I wish there were more hours in the day!

Today I am going to share my card for the Stamp and Create with Magnolia challenge:

DSC_9368

Since the theme this time around was Masculine or a card for a Boy/Man. I pulled out this older Edwin stamp from my stash. I created the background using the “smooshing” technique which I just saw on Kristina Werner’s blog. I think I have fallen in love with this way to make backgrounds. I added a sentiment from MFT.

Hope you can join us. You can find the challenge posting by clicking on the linked logo  below:

Stamp and Create with Magnolia ~ All About Moms

Happy Saturday! It is time for another fun challenge with Stamp and Create with Magnolia. This time, it is all about mothers :)

I chose this new image for the World Wide Web Collection from Magnolia. This image is At-Tilda. I simply did not ink up the “@” sign for this card. Easy to do with some post-it tape to cover it up whilst inking :)

You’ve Got Mail

Happy Monday! It has been a busy morning. I have 3 boys. They go to three different schools and they have each had a day off in the last week…..just not the same day! So, my post is a wee bit late today as I have spent this morning outfitting my oldest for his graduation! He looked very handsome and entirely too grown-up!

I fell totally in love with this cute image and knew I wanted to pair it up with this cute sentiment from PTI. I created a cute peek-a-boo card and kept it clean and simple :)

Dreams ~ Stamp and Create with Magnolia Challenge

Happy Friday! Hope you have some fun plans for the week-end and I hope they include some crafty time for you :) I have a new card to share with you today using Magnolia stamp’s Delightful Tilda.

DSC_8953 copy

The image is colored with Copic markers. Then I sponged on the clouds using a card-board cloud mask that I cut with my Silhouette SD and some Tumbled Glass Distress ink. I didn’t bother masking my image. I was just super careful when I was sponging. The sentiment is by MFT and was stamped with Black Onyx Versafine ink.

Is it Spring Yet?

Happy Monday! Is it Spring yet? Around here it certainly doesn’t feel like it outside so I am picking some very Spring-like images to color instead :)

DSC_8828 copy

This is Magnolia's Tilda with Big Tulip from their 2013 Little Easter Collection. I colored it up with Copics and then fussy cut it out. I used Lil’ Inkers die to create the quilted mat and a SU! embossing folder on my card-base to create the raised leaves. The banner was die-cut using a LLLC die.

Here is the news from Lacey over at Stamp and Create!

Back from our Spring Break vacation.

Most orders shipped out today; the rest will ship out tomorrow.

Magnolia Pre-Orders will ship out as soon as the stamps arrive.

The Spring Break Sale is over, but did you know...

Most items in the store are still 10%-60% off?!

Magnolia stamps are always at least 10% off retail.

Have a great rest of the day! Tomorrow I am posting a March Crafty haul video. Fun stuff!

Love the Here and Now

Happy Thursday! I have a new card to share with you today :)

I wanted to create a spring-feeling card….since it is not looking too Spring-like in my part of the world! This image is Summer Wedding Tilda from Magnolia's Special Moments 2013 Collection. She is probably on of my favorites from their more recent releases.

The sentiment is from MFT and really is perfect to fill up the blank space and balance the card. To fancy up the top I die cut this Whiff of Joy banner twice and adhered them overlapping one another. So pretty.

DSC_8765 copy

Lacey may be on vacation, but there is a whole lot new goodies being loaded into the store and a sale to boot!

High Hopes Rubber Stamps has released 14 adorable stamps today. A few of these fell into my basket today while I was doing a little bit of shopping :) The foxes are adorable, so I got both of them plus the sitting panda and the dancing hedgehogs. Who can resist dancing hedgehogs?

There are two new Magnolia Pre-orders. I held myself back and ordered just two  stamps :)

World Wide Web Pre-Order

and 4th/Graduation Pre-Order

there is still  a sale going on at the store.

At least 15% off the entire store.

Many designs are 25%-60% off.

The sale runs through Midnight, EST Sunday, March 22nd.

Orders placed during this time will ship out on March 23/24th

That is it for me today! Have a great one. I have a few new videos to edit. Fingers crossed and they will be up next week :)

Happy Monday! The sun is shining, the temperature is warmer and the boys are on break. Life is good.

I made another Easter/Spring card for the Stamp and Create March Challenge.

DSC_8699 copy

This Magnolia stamp is called Hello! Tilda. It is from an older collection and I wanted to ink it up once again. I used copic markers and a wink of stella pen for the coloration.

Waiting for Spring…An Easter Card

Happy Friday! It is still a frigidly cold little spot on Earth and I am waiting for a hint of Spring. In fact, more than a hint if I were to be honest :)

So, I pulled out one of my favorite older Magnolia stamps: Bunny Tilda, and made an Easter card.  I filmed a video but haven’t had the chance to edit it. Look for that to post next week.

DSC_8686 copy

This card is for Stamp & Create with Magnolia Challenge. The theme this time around is “Frame It”.  I created the frame using assorted dies and die plates. To decorate the front, I used some gemstones and lovely Wild Orchid Crafts flowers. These truly are my favorite flowers! I have a variety of sizes, shapes and flower varieties in my stash!
