Trick or Treat

 Happy Wednesday!  I had to think for a moment. This week is flying by and we will be into October on Friday!

I have a few more Halloween themed cards to share and this is a slimline style one.

Here is how I made it.  I created a cardbase out of orange cardstock.  The card measures 3.5" x 8.25".  I then used the two larger dies in the Slimline ATC Windows Die Set to cut out the black frame as well as the patterned paper inserts.  I used paper from the SuReally Cool Paper pack and aligned the die over the centers of the pattern.

I then stamped the patterned paper die cuts using the main stamps in the Trick of Treat House Clear Stamp Set. In fact, I stamped with Versafine Black Onyx and then sprinkled clear embossing powder over top and heat set it.  I give a deep, dark and slightly shiny effect.  I adhered all the components together onto the cardbase.

I die cut one of the spiders from the Spiders and Webs Die set and sponged on some white ink to give some contrast.  The "beware" sentiment is from the same Trick of Treat House Clear Stamp Set and was heat embossed with white powder.
