Enjoy Every Day

Happy Monday. I hope that your week is off to a good start. I am getting this post ready to publish and then there are a bunch of things that I need to get done in the house today.  With all five of us in the house pretty much all the time.....it does create a bit of a shambles...and let's not get into the laundry situation!  Everyone does their part but it never seems to stay tidy for long!

I created this card using the Hello Bear Clear Stamp Set.  It is one of my favorite sets and very versatile. I created a slimline panel using Bristol Smooth cardstock and stamped the bear and the hive using Versafine ink.  I then water-coloured the images using Zig markers.  Once it was nice and dry, I added masks overtop the images so that I could then create the background.

The background was created by using the Honeycomb Drips Stencil and an old cloud stencil that I have had for ages.  I created my own grass stencil by die cutting the Grass and Cloud Edger Die Set with some sturdy cardstock.  Instead of doing this you could use the ready made  Flight of the Butterflies Stencil. I don't own it but I wish I did!! Then I had a bit of fun ink blending and creating a lovely background for my sweet bear and his honey hive.

I coloured and fussy cut the flower (also contained in the same stamp set) and adhered it over top a wee mistake.....I managed to get a smudge of black ink onto the card but the flower covers it up nicely ;)

I then used my Misti tool to perfectly position and stamp the lovely sentiment!
