A two card post :)

Happy Monday everyone! It has been busy, busy in our little household with many things happening at once. One very important event was the Confirmation of our middle son. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were extremely proud of him. Lots of preparation in our home for the party afterwards and moving forward, the boys all have their music exams today. I am pretty sure they will all do well as they have been practicing up a storm. I hope the neighbours haven’t minded too much :) My eldest is leaving on a school trip and I am getting the laundry done and will have to run to get a few bits and bobs for him to take with him.

In the midst of this, I have managed a few projects……………but am behind schedule for sure. I would love to spend some quiet moments in my craft studio………hopefully soon.

For the time being, I want to share my weekly project for Stamp and Create with you. Honestly, Lacey has the best inventory of stamps and papers and ribbons! So much to choose from. This is a newly arrived stamp.

As an avid reader, this image was an absolute must-have! Paired with this sentiment from PTI, it is perfect to go into my Project Life album. The image is Saturated Canary's Reading Beauty and was colored with my beloved copics.  I added some banners made with some paper scraps from a MME paper pad and added white dots using Liquid Pearl from Ranger as well as some adhesive gemstones.

This week's new  Stamp & Create candy is:

Kitty on Swing from Gillian F Roberts/Stampavie

**In order to enter the candy, you must post the Stamp and Create's Store Logo in the side bar of your blog and link it to www.stampandcreate.com...

The candy end Sunday, May 19th at 7pm EST

I also want to share my latest LLLC creation with you. We were following a theme of “Sparkle & Bling”

I used the image New Years Marci, as well as the Scallop Border die and Butterfly die. By using this lovely mauve color, I think she can be used for more occasions than just New Years. The paper is old……very old from Basic Grey. I am making a concentrated effort to use my stash :) The card fold is a Stair-Step card. Here is the video I created a while ago, that shows you how it is done:

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs Jeanette
