Blushing Bride ~ Sketch Saturday

 

Happy Saturday! Here is my card for this week’s Sketch Saturday. We are being hosted this week by the very talented Maya and she created a lovely sketch to work with. She is also sponsoring the prize this week with a gorgeous Hanglar stamp. OMGosh I am jealous of whomever gets this one!

I knew right away that I wanted to used a doily for the circle and one of my new CC Designs stamps. I adore her sweet face and I colored her with distress inks trying to keep everything very soft. I also added shimmerz to her veil and a little to her dress as well. The paper is flocked and makes the card that more interesting.

Whiff of Joy is has a brand new “Get Well” release and it is available now at the on-line store. I have been stalking my postie daily and finally today my DT package came! The delay must have been due to the volcanic activity in the last few weeks. I did not get a chance to play with any of the adorable stamps yet but I am sure they will be getting inked up this weekend.
