I love this little cutie peeking out from behind the snowman. I chose to create it for my as yet unfinished December Daily album. I am hoping to complete it this month! Although I have used this as well as the second image for Christmas themed projects, you can easlily turn them into birthday or valentine cards just by switching up a few of the colors and the papers.

I colored the image with Copic Markers (listed at the end of this post) and the background was doen with OMS + prismacolor pencils. I cut out the image using a metal die from Mama Elephant. I adore the simple cross-stitched border. It just adds something to the scene without overpowering it. The snowflake was also made from a metal die from Kaiser craft and it was cut out of some $store glitter paper. The rest of the page was made from paper scraps from other December Daily projects.

As you can see, I kept the color palette virtually the same. I did introduce some mint/aqua tones and switch out the mat color. The snowflake is die-cut using the second die in the set.

What a beautiful color combination. The aqua is gorgeous with the red and green! Both of these beautiful images is colored to perfection! That red and white striped paper base is awesome and is so perfect for Christmas. Both of these cards are so cheerful and will make the recipients smile...which is how Christmas cards should be...happy! Both are wonderful. Hugs, Gail
