Happy Monday! We just came back from a fun week-end up at my SIL’s cottage. The kids fished, boated, tubed, water-skied and had fun with their cousins. It was a fun time and lovely break.
I am excited to share this project with you that I created for the Stamp and Create August Monthly Challenge with the theme of Glitter!
I fell in love with these Sweet November Princesses when I first saw them on Amy’s blog. I love, loved their big eyes and the way Amy had colored them made we want them. I held off as long as I could, and finally caved and got them. I loved Amy’s color choices so much, and I am a BIG fan of her work, and so I ended up using her color palette myself. She is always so lovely about listing what she uses (so much more organized than I am) and it was fun to pair some markers up that I hadn’t thought of! Love that the blog world lets us all share with one another and I want to give the credit and thanks to Amy for the color palette!
I decided to create little tags with these 3 princesses. There is one more that I have yet to color up…stay tuned. I cut the tags using my Silhouette SD cutter and then embossed them with at PTI folder to give them some texture. The hearts and leaves were also die-cut with my Silhouette. The butterflies were die-cut with a Stampin’ Up die. I also used these charms: Rainbow, Strawberry, Heart 2 and some white wrinkled ribbon to tie to the tops of the tags.
Hope you can join in us in the August challenge and the chance to win a $25 gift certificate. Just click on the logo below to go to the correct challenge posting.
