~ Stamp & Create ~ Wedding Card

Happy Hot & Humid Tuesday…well, at least where I am. Whew! It is just a stinker outside today. I need to go out later and water my poor plants.

I was so surprised and happy to find out that I had my Nautical Tilda card from last week selected as a winner in not one but two challenges! That was a lovely surprise! Thank you so much to the following:

 

I wanted to share another wedding card and my  Stamp and Create DT card with you today.

I used two Magnolia images from the Special Moments collection: Vintage Bridal Couple and Vintage Swedish Background. I stamped the couple and then masked them and stamped the background over top. Everything was colored with Copic Markers.

I had so much going on color-wise with the image that I ended up just going with a tone-on-tone color palette for the card base. I did emboss some strips and edged them with a metallic gold ink to keep the card from being too plain. I used a sweet double heart charm and some ivory wrinkled ribbon and a couple of roses for a little more embellishment.

I used the clear Wink of Stella pen to go over part of her dress and veil. You can see the effect from this angle:
