Happy Monday my lovelies! Sorry my post is late today. I got caught up in housework. Trust me, I would rather be stamping, but it has to get done. At least when I have the radio blaring, it helps make it more fun!
Today I am sharing my Stamp and Create DT card with you, but first I have some really fun and exciting news for you!
We are starting a new Magnolia Challenge!!
The challenges will be begin this Friday, January 18th
Then the challenge will continue every two weeks
Hop on over to the Stamp and Create with Magnolia challenge blog and become a follower so you don't miss out on any of the fun!
Speaking of Magnolia, the new Magnolia With Love Collection is now in stock...
Now, here is my card. It is one of the “thank-you” cards I made for my boys to send out to their family.
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to make an effort to get all my un-used stamps inked up and onto cards. I feel terrible about the amount of stamps that still haven’t been out of their package. So here is a sweet stamp that I love and am happy to have finally used!
It is a Stampavie stamp from the Penny Johnson line: Floating down the River. The image was colored with Copic markers, then masked and air-brushed with my Copic ABS. I used a couple of colors to create a fun background. The sentiment is from an older SU! set and I used a SU! punch and some scrap paper to create a little interest at the top. I tied some baker’s twine and my card was done. Since this is being mailed out along with some photos, I wanted to keep the bulk to a minimum and really, I don’t think it needs any more embellishments.
Before I leave you, I will tell you that this week's weekly candy is:
