Stamp & Create Magnolia Challenge # 1

Hello once again! I am back with my second post today :) Today is the start of a brand new Magnolia Challenge. I was happy to accept Lacey’s invitation for a position on the Design Team. I have to admit that I buy stamps from every single Magnolia Collection and have been collecting these sweeties since 2008. Stamp & Create has amazing prices on Magnolia stamps and that is where I buy mine :)

The challenge will run every two weeks and there will be a prize of one Magnolia stamp for the winner!

The theme of Challenge # 1 is:
Winter Blues

I used this sweet little stamp from the 2012 Christmas collection; Tilda on the Roof for my card. I thought that she would look sweet sitting on the side of this Tim Holtz die cut clock. I colored her with Distress Markers and Inks and kept the coloring soft. I used grey and grey-blue papers to match the paper from an Authentique paper pad. I added some flowers and gems to create a little interest and texture to my card.

I hope that you will join us in this, our first challenge! You can see the rest of the marvelous cards by the Design Team and read the challenge rules and find out how to enter, at this post ~ here~

Thanks for stopping by and have a gorgeous week-end!

Hugs Jeanette xxo
