Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fabulous week-end! It passes by so quickly, doesn’t it?
My card today is for Stamp & Create. I broke out my Distress Inks and Markers and some Twinkling H20s to do the coloration on this one. I switched to a smaller brush and it made a lot of difference for me. It also took ages to color. I am much faster with my Copic Markers! The H20s were used on her wings, but the effect is much nicer in real life. I couldn’t capture it properly with the camera.
I used Summer Fairy from Whimsy Stamps for this card. I thought this white on white really complimented the image. i embossed the background with a SU! folder, die-cut the leaves using this WoJ die and also used MFT rolled roses die to create the white flowers. I also used Pink Crochet Ribbon, White Wrinkled ribbon and Kaiser Craft Pearls to embellish my card.
I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp challenge: Use Dies or Punches, the Deep Ocean Challenge: Anything Goes, and the Whimsy Challenge: All Things Sparkly.
Don’t forget to check out the Stamp & Create blog for last week’s winner and this week’s new prize!
