Happy Wednesday evening my lovelies! Don’t you just love these summer hours that I am keeping :) Well, next week the kids go back to school so I am hoping to have a bit more structure to my blog posts and start on some more videos! It is impossible to do them when they are home all the time!
Today I am sharing a card made with Sweet Maya ~ our new wee character over at Whiff of Joy. This image is called Apron Full of Flowers and is from our June release. I haven’t had the chance to post this card. I had made it about 2 weeks ago :)
Maya was colored with Copics and cut out using a Spellbinders Label die. While the die was still on the paper, I sponged Antique Linen Distress ink onto it. Love the crisp white border that can be achieved this way.
I used paper from a My Mind’s Eye 6x6 paper pad and went crazy with the flower embellies and ribbon! The leaves were made using a Martha Stewart Punch.
There is a tiny tag attached at the right side and on the left side there is a larger tag that can be pulled out. They are made with the WoJ Fancy Tag die. Here is the larger one pulled out:
I used the gorgeous Vintage letter set to stamp this ornate letter onto the tag using Versafine Sepia ink.
