Stamp & Create Product Spotlight & Challenge

Happy Monday! Today’s card was totally inspired by the Royal Wedding! The Stamp & Create Product Spotlight this week is “Royal Fairytale”. Love it! I knew right away which stamp I would use and decided to try out one of the new side step cards that I have been seeing. I did find a tutorial but the resulting card was too small so I ended up figuring out my own dimensions. My card measures 5”x6”. I will post the instructions later on once I have some extra time :)

I used Sweet November Princess Ilyse for my side step-card. I colored her with copic and then added some shimmerz to her dress and glitter to her over coat. Then I went over the cuffs with my Sakura glitter pen. The paper is from a DCWV paper pad that I have had for ages. The sentiment is my Technique Tuesdays and I embossed it on some vellum with black powder. I added some little frames that I made with a Cuttlebug die and one simple Prima flower and a sweet double heart charm.

Here is a close-up of the Princess:

Here is a side-view of the card. The base was made with some MS patterned paper. I really like the pattern showing on the inside.

Lovely stamp! pretty card! :) great "royalty" here.
I didn't know about this side step card, would love to learn to do it, and the inside step I have been seeing also.
Thanks for sharing,
Susan
