Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge

Happy Friday!  This week, Whiff of Joy is sponsoring the Really Reasonable Challenge blog and I was invited to create a card for the challenge! I received a lovely assortment of ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon for my card. I was truly impressed with the high quality of the ribbon and the assortment was gorgeous.

This week the challenge is to use dies or punches in your project. I decided to use this sweet gnome Snow-White from Whiff of Joy’s March release and I colored her to match the assortment of ribbon that I received. I layered 3 different types of ribbon to achieve this fun and girly look. I found some old Daisy D paper in my stash that was the perfect match. I used the Whiff of Joy metal grass die to create this fun and fresh border and I even decorated the inside of my card!

Here it is:

Don’t forget that Whiff of Joy’s new release is available today! Lots of fun digital images and wonderful new dies! To see a sample of what you can do with them, check out the birthday banner I made for my sons’ birthday ~here~

ETA(now that it has been officially posted):

I also have some sad news for you today. Claudia has decided to close down the Friday Sketchers blog. She was the coordinator and did much of the behind the scenes organization for us all. This week she decided to step down from that position as she is not able to continue in that role. None of the remaining DT were able to take on this tremendous task. On a personal note, I feel so terribly bad that I could not step up and take over that role but I am already at my limit with commitments on Design Teams as well as the Copic coloring teaching that I do for my LSS. It was such a difficult decision because I really LOVED working at FS and didn’t want it to end. At the same time, it would not have been fair to my sweet and understanding family and also, I realize, to myself to take on more responsibility when I knew that I truly did not have the time. A position that my other DT sisters are also in. I hope that all our wonderful participants will understand. I feel like I am letting you all down.

I would like to say that I was grateful and honored to be part of this team for the last two years and to work alongside such talented and lovely blogging friends.

Big Hugs Jeanette
