Joy to the World and a Video

Happy Thursday! My Whiff of Joy DT package landed in my mail-box on Tuesday. I was thrilled and excited to have the new angel stamps as well as the new metal dies. Here is my first card:

Whiff of Joy 2010 - Page 127

I stamped and colored my angel and then I used the SU! Top Notes die to cut it out. I masked the image and stamped a CHF weave stamp over on top with Antique Linen distress ink. I then used the same ink to sponge around the edges. The paper is Graphic 45. I created the snowflakes and the flourishes with metallic paper and using the new WoJ dies. Aren’t they wonderful! I know that I am going to be using them over and over again! The sentiment is also WoJ and I used the fancy shape die to cut it out.

I am going to enter this card in the Whiff of Joy Challenge. The theme this week is “Christmas”. I am also entering it in the Sir Stampalot Challenge whose theme is “Christmas Traditions”. I just discovered this challenge and there is a fabulous prize that is worth checking out!

On Tuesday I posted these cards for the Stamps & Create Monthly Challenge:

I have another video posted today over at the Whiff of Joy Tutorial & Inspiration Blog and in it I show you how to create a Nativity Stair-Step Card. Here is a little sneak peekie of the card:

Just another little thing before I finish my (rather long) post. I will be teaching a beginners Copic Coloring Class at Scrapbook Centrale (West Island, Montreal). If you are in the area and interested, the dates are:

Saturday, November 6th, 2010
10:30 am to 12:30 pm
As well as
On Thursday, 2 December 2010
10:30 am to 12:30 pm

This is an introduction to the basics of coloring. This is not two different classes, rather the same course taught on two different dates! For furthur info you can call the store at: 1-888-383-5558 or (514) 683-5558.

If you can make it, I would love to meet you and put a face to some of my blogging buddies!

Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by!
