Friday Sketchers # 125 & Wags ‘n Whiskers Challenges

Happy Friday! Looking forward to the week-end! They are not calling for great weather but that means a nice fire, some cocoa and some board games with the kids!

This week Friday Sketchers is being hosted by the amazing Jacque! I love, love her positive attitude and outlook and her cards are simply divine! She created an amazing multi-layered sketch for us all to play with!

Whiff of Joy 2010 - Page 216

I am so in love with the new Lost & Found line from My Mind’s Eye! I thought it would be perfect paired up with one of my favorite Whiff of Joy images. It is from the first City Girls release. All supplies can be found at  Scrapbook Centrale (this sample card is there too)

  • Stamps: Whiff of Joy City Girl Collection 2010 Willow with Champagne
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: SU! Cardstock, MME Lost & Found DP
  • Coloring: Copic Sketch Markers, Sakura Stardust Glitter Pen
  • Embellies: Crochet Lace, MME Lost & Found collection Brad

Be sure to check out all the samples that my fellow DT sisters have created for your inspiration.

Aud, Bea, Claudia, Tanja, Jacque, Janneke, Jorunn Inge

We hope  you will be able to play along and post your own creation on the Friday Sketcher blog. We are being sponsored by lovely Carole of STARDUST GEMS AND RIBBON.

My next card is for this week’s Wags’nWhiskers Challenge which is “Merry & Bright”. I pulled out this stamp Sweet Danni & Bella from our first collection. It has been too long since I inked this sweetie up!

Whiff of Joy 2010 - Page 240

I found this wonderful card sketch over at Card Patterns Challenge and thought it showcased this cutie wonderfully. The paper is Basic Grey Eskimos Kisses and the ribbon is May Arts taffeta. I added a little liquid applique to the kitten’s hat. Such a fun effect.

Please join us this week over at the Wags challenge for a chance to win and don’t forget to check out the wonderful creations by my fellow Divas. They are sure to get you in the Christmas mood!

Just wanted to let you know that I have started to load up my Christmas cards on Ebay so if you are interested you will find the link at the top left of my side-bar!
