Happy Tuesday Everyone! My week is off to a rocky start. Yesterday I spent half the day without electricity and could post my Stamp & Create card. (It is the post below and featured a really cute bear) Then, I had mistakenly thought this challenge was scheduled for the 9th! Oops. I felt pretty sheepish for the confusion. I think I need more sleep.
Jorunn had the brilliant idea to create a First Aid kit for our little WoJ challenge. She has a marvelous tutorial for you to follow. You can find it -->here<-- at the WoJ Inspiration and Tutorial Blog.
With Summer beginning and 3 active boys, this was just the project that I needed to do. I didn’t create anything too fancy because I know it will be carted around with me in my summer knapsack. I came up with my own little folded card. I had fun creating it and have ideas for different uses.
I used this sweet Norma Fickel gnome for the front. Just because we as Mummies know that most often the magical cuddle and kiss is what makes our little ones feel better! I have just a few items tucked into the pocket:
- sterile gauze
- band-aids (my little guy LOVES these)
- antiseptic towlettes
- Polysporin (medicated ointment)

That is a brilliant idea Jeanette. Love the card/holder you have designed and love the image you've used. Lets hope you don't really have to use its contents (but I suppose with 3 boys!!!) x
